The luggage size, which can be taken onto airplane, is called cabin size. Different airline companies may have a different size requirement on cabin size in different countries. Here is the usual size requirement set in many countries. They request maximum specification of length at 55cm, width at 40cm and height at 25cm while the total of 3 sides are within 115cm. The usual maximum weight of luggage case and articles enclosed inside is not allowed to exceed 8KG, or 17.8lbs.
